Faculty and staff are invited to submit proposals for grants that support the use of open educational resources (OER) in UBC Vancouver credit courses. OER are freely accessible educational materials that permit open use, modification, and adaptation.
OER Affordability Grants
Grants of up to $25,000 are available for UBC Vancouver faculty who wish to address course material affordability and access, through the incorporation of OER, as required materials into their credit courses. OER Rapid Innovation Grants
Grants of up to $2,000 are available to UBC Vancouver faculty, staff and students for innovative activities that increase OER use and capacity building. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the funds are exhausted. Learn more about the OER Rapid Innovation Grants.
