Project Title | Creation of a common urologic educational resource for the Dept of Urologic Sciences |
Principal Investigator | Christopher Nguan |
Faculty | Medicine |
Funding Year | 2024 |
Project Summary | In a surgical training Program such as Urology, there is an almost overwhelming amount of knowledge that must be acquired, synthesized and digested over the course of 5 years, ranging from basic anatomy and physiology, to all of the potential pathophysiologic processes that could potentially occur, to all of the technical skills required in executing invasive procedures to cure those same issues in patients. Over time the Educational Program and trainees have collated a collection of high quality reference notes and resources that could be made available to future generations of Urology trainees in BC and elsewhere to facilitate their study and provide a quality reference for their day to day clinical work. This project focuses on projecting the cumulative Urologic educational resources currently in hand to a common UBC hosted Urology wiki to facilitate open engagement and education of trainees internally and beyond. |
